This toy freed himself from his packaging where he proceeded to poison the Autobots' oilnog which made the Autobots eager to take a stasis nap. One such toy was among the wrapped gifts at the Autobot base. Sound and FuryĪ newly reassembled Soundwave was revealed to be in control of an army of Sound Wave toys that have been marketed and sold by Porter C. Unknown to all others, Soundwave still functioned as a small piece even after Bulkhead had pummeled him into scrap metal. The machines were restored to their normal operational status and the day was saved. then used his wrecking ball to shatter Soundwave. Bulkhead acted as if he was about to kill Sari. Soundwave then appealed to Bulkhead to join the revolution because he did not want to hurt a fellow machine, reminding him how Bulkhead had been replaced by Soundwave himself. When Bulkhead came to rescue Sari, Soundwave blasted him with a sonic blast. The revolution of the robots was quickly opposed by the Autobots. He started by taking over all the robots in Detroit and using Tutor Bot to kidnap Sari. Once convinced, Soundwave promptly upgraded himself into a transforming body using controlled robots, proclaimed himself to be a Decepticon and began his task. At first Soundwave refused but Megatron told Soundwave that the Autobots lived to serve the humans. Megatron tried to convince Soundwave to join the Decepticons, take control of the machines in Detroit and steal the AllSpark Key. The struggle between the robots and the humans is a class struggle. He also on occasion has been known to command an army of diminutive drones of himself. He has a pet bird that transforms into a guitar and a pet bat that changes into a keytar. His arsenal of weapons and gadgets is unusually large and includes powerful speakers, wiretaps, voice modulators, sonic signals that control lesser robots and the uncanny ability to assimilate other devices into his body. With an army of subservient mechanoids that he can control through powerful signals, that uprising just might be possible. The Decepticon cause is logical in Soundwave's optics and he joined them in the hopes of overthrowing the human capitalist oppressors. It does not compute that humans control their robotic helpers and Soundwave aims to lead the robot proletariat to rise against their fleshling bourgeoisie. Machines are superior to humans: more logical, more intelligent and longer-lasting. Like his Generation 1 counterpart, this Warpath uses onomatopoeic words in his sentences, ("Bam, pow!") though they don't dominate his speech patterns. When the Dance Dance Revolution comes, you will be first against the wall. That evening, Warpath attended the Stunt Convoy's debut show with Minerva, and his attempts to keep an excited Grandus in line caused him to bonk Wheelie on the head with his cannon. After an unproductive encounter with Sentinel, Warpath was reluctant to let Minerva literally chase after Optimus, but gave in, and before long they met up with the Autobot hero at Ironfist's workshop. In the days that followed, Warpath agreed to help Minerva meet her idol, Ratchet, and brought her to a Stunt Convoy attended by Sentinel Magnus and Ratchet's colleague Optimus Prime. Decepticon Air He was back up to full height when he appeared to cheer for Optimus Prime and his crew when they returned to Cybertron triumphant. Warpath survived, and millions of years later, was seen in a crowd welcoming Sentinel Prime and the captured Decepticons on Cybertron (albeit looking a little smaller than he used to). Ratchet walked past Warpath's unconscious body while looking to help the heavily damaged Omega. The Autobots won the battle, as Omega Supreme defeated most of the Decepticon army. Near the end of the war, during the Battle for Iacon, Warpath was shot in the back and seriously wounded. The AllSpark Almanac II At some point during the war, Warpath lost his leg, which was reattached by the medic Minerva. He struggled to find an outlet for his aggression, and modded his sonic radar into a cannon. When Yoketron was killed by the traitor Lockdown, Warpath was devastated. Warpath left grumbling about Prowl being a "draft-dodging peacenik" but not without uttering a "bam, pow" first. Prowl gave him some lip, and Warpath was tempted to take him on, until Yoketron told Warpath that he had it under control. Warpath made it clear that he believed that those who don't fight the Decepticons aren't any better than the 'Cons themselves. He took a young and rebellious Prowl to Master Yoketron after the bot tried to escape participation in the later stages of the Autobot-Decepticon War. Presumably, most of them got killed by Oil Slick's Cosmic Rust. Warpath ordered an Autobot force into battle on Hydrax Plateau during the Great War. It's a cannon in my chest, ok? I am not happy to see you.
